About Ål IL

Ål IL was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16.

In addition to Ål IL, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Ål IL could be found in Group 7 together with H43 Lund, Sarpsborg IL 1, Nesodden HK, Kärra HF and Afturelding.

Ål IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against KFUM Lundagård with 7-17. In the Final, Oppegård IL 1 won over Skedsmo HK 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16.

Ål comes from Ål which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Ål IL, the club EOC Norway does also originate from the area around Ål.
