Åssiden IF

Åssiden IF was one of 92 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Åssiden IF, 103 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Åssiden IF could be found in Group 4 together with Ranheim IL 2, Fjellhammer IL 1, Skanderborg HB, HAIG Illkirch 2 and NKIK Norrköping. Åssiden IF continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Baekkelaget SK 2 with 8-10. In the Final, Sotra SK 1 won over Skogstrand IL and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 15. Åssiden IF also participated in Girls 14 during Partille Cup 2013. They reached the 1/32 Final in G14 B-Play-off, but lost it against Eskilstuna Guif with 5-9. Åssiden comes from Drammen which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Drammen does also provide 21 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Among others: Stabaek IF, Ull/Kisa IL, Nesodden HK, Kolbotn IL, Ullern IF, Haslum IL, Konnerud IL, Strömm IL, Saetre IF Graabein and Lommedalen IL).
