Degernes IL

Degernes IL was one of 92 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Degernes IL, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 19 different groups, whereof Degernes IL could be found in Group 12 together with Näsby Handboll, Lörenskog HK, Bålsta IF, Fram 1 and IK Sävehof 4. Degernes IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Klaebu IL with 11-12. In the Final, Önnereds HK 2 won over Baekkelaget SK and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 14. Degernes comes from Rakkestad which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Rakkestad does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Sarpsborg IL, Torsnes IL, Spydeberg IL, Driv IL, Tveter HK, Tindlund IF and Skogstrand IL).
