Skogstrand IL

Skogstrand IL was one of 92 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Skogstrand IL, 103 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Skogstrand IL could be found in Group 6 together with Baekkelaget SK 2, Herning FH 1, HK Aranäs, HC Vöslau and IK Cyrus. Skogstrand IL made it to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Sotra SK 1 with 7-9. Thereby Skogstrand IL finished second in G15 B-Play-off during Partille Cup 2014. Skogstrand comes from Fredrikstad which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Fredrikstad does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Sarpsborg IL, Torsnes IL, Flint Tønsberg Håndball AL, Teie IF, SPK Falk, Son HK, Tveter HK, Lervik IF, Tindlund IF and Degernes IL).
