Sydstjernen

Sydstjernen was one of 36 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sydstjernen, 85 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Sydstjernen could be found in Group 11 together with Enköpings HF, TV Weiden, Fjellhammer IL, IK Sävehof 3 and Baekkelaget SK 2. Sydstjernen continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Silwing/Troja with 8-21. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Önnereds HK 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 15. Sydstjernen comes from Aabenraa which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Aabenraa does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (HF Flensburg-Munkbrarup, TSV Hürup, TSV Sieverstedt and Rödekro IF).
