Kavallieri

Kavallieri was one of two clubs from Malta that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Kavallieri, 69 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Kavallieri could be found in Group 1 together with Önnereds HK, Strindheim IL, Ligue Francophone de Handball, IFK Skövde and HEBS. Kavallieri continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against UHK Krems with 7-17. In the Final, Eskilstuna Guif won over Quebec Handball and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 16. Kavallieri comes from Msida which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Kavallieri, the club Malta National Team does also originate from the area around Msida.
