In addition to the two KA teams, 68 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof KA 2 could be found in Group 9 together with HK Aranäs, OV Helsingborg, Mount Kenya HC, Kolding IF, TV Weiden and Fjellhammer IL. KA 2 continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Team Kärnten with 11-20. In the Final, Eskilstuna Guif won over Quebec Handball and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 16.
