Throttur

Throttur was one of 13 clubs from Iceland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Throttur, 103 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Throttur could be found in Group 16 together with Nordstrand IF 1, Grue IL, HK Brätte, Holbaek HK and Kärra HF. Throttur continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against HK Lidköping with 7-8. In the Final, Sotra SK 1 won over Skogstrand IL and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 15. Throttur comes from Reykjavík which lies approximately 1900 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Reykjavík does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (HK, Stjarnan, IR, Fylkir, KR, Fram and Afturelding).
