Åstorps HF

Åstorps HF was one of 91 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Åstorps HF, 88 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Åstorps HF could be found in Group 7 together with Spydeberg IL, Helsingör IF, Bjarg IL 2, Chinese Youth Team - Weifang (SP), Särökometernas HK and Fjellhammer IL. Åstorps HF continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lilleström HK-90 with 9-15. In the Final, AG Håndbold won over Brabrand IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Åstorps comes from Åstorp which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Åstorp does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (OV Helsingborg, Helsingör IF and Hornbaek IF).
