Gjerpen IF

Gjerpen IF was one of 92 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Gjerpen IF, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 19 different groups, whereof Gjerpen IF could be found in Group 18 together with RP IF 1, Önnereds HK 1, AK-28 2, Fram 2, Nesodden HK 1 and Mumbai Sports Centre. Gjerpen IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IK Bolton with 13-14. In the Final, Torslanda HK won over Charlottenlund SK 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 14. Gjerpen comes from Skien which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Skien does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Larvik Turn IF and Sandefjord TIF).
