CST98 for handball

CST98 for handball was one of 14 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to CST98 for handball, 69 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof CST98 for handball could be found in Group 10 together with HBC Dendermonde, Strandby-Elling IF, Tyresö Handboll, Fram and Redbergslids IK. CST98 for handball continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Torslanda HK with 14-15. In the Final, Eskilstuna Guif won over Quebec Handball and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 16. CST98 for comes from Volgograd which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Volgograd does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (CST02 for handball and CST Sparta for handball).
