Furesø Håndbold

Furesø Håndbold was one of 36 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Furesø Håndbold, 69 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Furesø Håndbold could be found in Group 11 together with Sotra SK, Team Kärnten, IFK Nyköping, Eskilstuna Guif, BM Granollers and IK Sävehof 2. Furesø Håndbold continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against HEI/VRI with 14-20. In the Final, Niger United won over IK Sävehof 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16. Furesø Håndbold also participated in Boys 15 during Partille Cup 2013. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 A-Play-off, but lost it against RP IF with 8-11. Furesø comes from Værløse which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Værløse does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Frederiksberg IF, Ledöje-Smörum HK, Hellerup IK, Lödde Vikings HK, AG Håndbold, Rödovre HK, Helsingör IF, TIK Taastrup, Hornbaek IF and BK Ydun).
