IF Helsinge Atlas

IF Helsinge Atlas was one of 7 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to IF Helsinge Atlas, 88 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof IF Helsinge Atlas could be found in Group 13 together with Lugi HF 1, Tyresö Handboll, KA/Thor, Fana IL and Bergen HK. IF Helsinge Atlas continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Önnereds HK 2 with 11-14. In the Final, AG Håndbold won over Brabrand IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Helsinge Atlas comes from Vanda which lies approximately 790 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Vanda does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Dicken, Wincester, Helsinki IFK and Grankulla IFK).
