Vejlby-Risskov IK

Vejlby-Risskov IK was one of 36 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Vejlby-Risskov IK, 103 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Vejlby-Risskov IK could be found in Group 7 together with Kungälvs HK, Näsby Handboll, Fana IL 2, Selfoss 2 and Nit/Hak HK. Vejlby-Risskov IK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Herning FH 1 with 12-17. In the Final, Sarpsborg IL won over Hjortshöj Egå IF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Vejlby-Risskov IK also participated in Girls 14 during Partille Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in G14 A-Play-off, but lost it against Holbaek HK with 14-15. Vejlby-Risskov comes from Risskov which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Risskov does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Hörning Håndbold, Team Favrskov Håndbold, Aarhus HK, Stautrup IF, Skanderborg HB, Hjortshöj Egå IF, Christiansbjerg IF, Harlev IK, Brabrand IF and HEI/VRI).
