AIK

AIK was one of 91 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to AIK, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 19 different groups, whereof AIK could be found in Group 9 together with Tveter HK 1, Fjellhammer IL 1, Önnereds HK 2, Team Favrskov Håndbold and Hånes IF 1. AIK continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kolbotn IL 1 with 10-12. In the Final, Önnereds HK 2 won over Baekkelaget SK and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 14. AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 21 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Among others: HK Brätte, Bålsta IF, Tyresö Handboll, Åkersberga HK, Vallentuna HK, Skånela IF, Skogås HK, Haninge HK, Huddinge HK and Skuru IK).
