Täby HBK

Täby HBK was one of 91 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Täby HBK, 75 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Täby HBK could be found in Group 6 together with Önnereds HK 1, Lugi HF 1, THW Kiel 2, Union West Wien, Baekkelaget SK 1 and Ledöje-Smörum HK. Täby HBK continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HK Aranäs with 13-23. In the Final, HK Aranäs won over TJ Dukla Praha and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 14. Täby HBK also participated in Boys 13 during Partille Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in B13 B-Play-off, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 with 7-9. Täby comes from Täby which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Täby does also provide 21 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Among others: HK Brätte, Bålsta IF, Tyresö Handboll, Åkersberga HK, Vallentuna HK, Skånela IF, Skogås HK, Haninge HK, Huddinge HK and Skuru IK).
