In addition to Strindheim IL, 69 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Strindheim IL could be found in Group 1 together with Önnereds HK, Kavallieri, Ligue Francophone de Handball, IFK Skövde and HEBS. Strindheim IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Quebec Handball with 10-15. In the Final, Eskilstuna Guif won over Quebec Handball and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 16.
