Centrul National Sighisoara

Centrul National Sighisoara was one of two clubs from Romania that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Centrul National Sighisoara, 64 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Centrul National Sighisoara could be found in Group 7 together with Kärra HF, HK Drott, SV Tungendorf, Lilleström Topphåndball and Union West Wien. Centrul National Sighisoara continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Uor-Chehov with 19-20. In the Final, Uor-Chehov won over Frisch Auf! Göppingen and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. Centrul National Sighisoara comes from Sighisoara which lies approximately 1500 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Centrul National Sighisoara, the club EOC Romania does also originate from the area around Sighisoara.
