Gjerpen IF

Gjerpen IF was one of 78 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Gjerpen IF, 107 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Gjerpen IF could be found in Group 13 together with Gustavsberg IF, TPI Odense, Kolbotn IL, Kiruna HK 1 and Brabant Selectie 2. Gjerpen IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hellerup IK 1 with 7-19. In the Final, Hellerup IK 1 won over Skogås HK and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Gjerpen comes from Skien which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Skien does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Larvik Turn IF, Herkules IF and Halsen/Runar).
