Sarpsborg IL

Sarpsborg IL was one of 78 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Sarpsborg IL, 112 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Sarpsborg IL could be found in Group 13 together with Skanderborg HB, Slemmestad IF, BK Ydun, HSG Mielkendorf / Molfsee I, Enköpings HF and IK Sävehof 2. Sarpsborg IL continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Fredriksbergs IF with 12-16. In the Final, Hellerup IK won over Fredriksbergs IF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 14. Sarpsborg comes from Sarpsborg which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Sarpsborg does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Tveter HK, Son HK and Spydeberg IL).
