Fredriksbergs IF

Fredriksbergs IF was one of 34 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Fredriksbergs IF, 112 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Fredriksbergs IF could be found in Group 4 together with Scholastica, Eskilstuna Guif, Fjellhammer IL 1, Baekkelaget SK 2 and Bjurslätts IF. Fredriksbergs IF made it to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Hellerup IK with 12-19. Thereby Fredriksbergs IF finished second in G14 A-Play-off during Partille Cup 2013. Fredriksbergs comes from Frederiksberg C which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Frederiksberg C does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Kävlinge HK, HK Malmö, Hellerup IK, IFK Malmö, Rödovre HK, TIK Taastrup, BK Ydun, Furesø Håndbold, Albertslund/Glostrup and HK Ankaret).
